Student welcomed into Austin Prep's NJHS

A local student was inducted into the National Junior Honor Society at Austin Preparatory Middle School on Oct. 27.

Seventh-grader Elizabeth Walsh of Melrose was among the 15 students selected for induction into Austin Prep’s chapter of the NJHS.

The inductees were ushered in during a ceremony in the Reading school’s Chapel of Saint Augustine.

After, the students and their families celebrated their accomplishment during a reception at the school.
