Victorian Fair Capped Busy Weekend For Melrose
See dozens of photos of the fair and catch up after a nonstop weekend around town.
MELROSE, MA — Thousands descended on Main Street during a picture-perfect September day to take part in the celebrated Victorian Fair. It's a fair guess to say they weren't disappointed.
Hundreds of booths lined both sides on Main Street downtown, from politicians and firefighters to churches and restaurants - and everything in between.
There was the Artisans' Marketplace, a small carnival, face painting a dunking booth, pie-throwing, an electric car showcase, and more. Local eateries were giving away and selling food and others were handing out kazoos and Bibles. There really was something for everyone.
