What Was This Turkey Doing on Main Street?

So I'm driving down Main Street early Sunday afternoon, going through Melrose to Malden, trying to get home to watch Tom Brady gobble up the Browns defense.

I was a bit late thanks to this gobbling on the corner of Lodge Ave.

Whatever this turkey was up to, it didn't have much a mind for traffic. The bird took its time crossing the street, dawdled on the corner for a bit, went to cross the street again, then decided better of it.
