MILFORD, MA — Milford police, along with the Massachusetts State Police, are investigating a reported past assault that prompted a 911 call Friday morning, officials said.
The Milford Public Safety Communications Center received an emergency call at approximately 10:30 a.m. on May 1 reporting a past assault at Birmingham Court, police said.
Police said one man has been taken into custody in connection with the incident. A second individual was transported to UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester. The extent of that person’s injuries has not been released.
Authorities emphasized that all parties involved have been accounted for and that there is no ongoing threat to the public.
The investigation remains active, and officials are asking non-residents to avoid the Birmingham Court area while police continue their work.
