Candidates Forum Hosted By Citizens For Milford March 14
Residents will have the opportunity to ask candidates questions before the April 2 election.
MILFORD, MA- The town election is less than a month away and races for selectmen, School Committee, Board of Library Trustees, constable and Vernon Grove Trustees are heating up, with an open forum coming up on Mar. 14.
Citizens For Milford will host the forum at 7 p.m. at St. Mary's Parish Hall. Residents will have the opportunity to meet the candidates and ask questions. Candidates will get two minutes to deliver a statement and then an open question and answer will begin. Anyone who can't make it to the forum can email questions to CitizensForMilford@gmail.com.
Incumbent and Chairman Michael Walsh will be defending his seat on the Board of Selectmen against Ami Clifford. Clifford is a local attorney and was a Town Meeting member in Precinct 1.

Six candidates are running for School Committee. Only incumbent James Ligor will be defending his seat, incumbent Joseph Morais did not pull papers. Competing for a seat are challengers Justin John Dulak, John Erickson, Tarik Miranda, R.J. Sheedy and Michael Visconti Jr.
Candidates for the Board of Library Trustees are all new faces. Stephanie Abisla, Margaret Myatt and Scott Vecchiolla will compete for the two open seats.

The five incumbents for constable, Joseph Arcudi, Mark Calzolaio, Nadine Ladeau, Raymond Pagucci Jr. and Mark Tosti, will face one challenger, Robert Sheedy.
Three candidates are competing for two seats on the Trustees of Vernon Grove. Incumbents Marilyn Lovell and Scott Vecchiolla will defend their seats against challenger Kristen Gardner.
