BELLINGHAM, MA — Police are searching for a Franklin man accused of leading officers on a pursuit Tuesday morning that ended with a foot chase in Franklin.
A Bellingham officer attempted to stop a blue Ford Ranger on Pulaski Boulevard at about 8:52 a.m. Tuesday because the vehicle was known to be commonly operated by Dominick Revell, 54, of Franklin, who has several active arrest warrants and a revoked driver's license, according to Bellingham police.
The vehicle did not stop and the pursuit continued into Franklin, where Franklin police joined the effort. Stop sticks were deployed on Grove Street in Franklin, deflating the vehicle's passenger-side tires, according to police.

The truck continued through Franklin, briefly approaching the Medway town line before stopping on Pond Street in Franklin. During the pursuit, Revell struck several mailboxes, police said.
After the vehicle stopped, the driver got out and fled on foot, jumping over a fence, swimming across a small river and continuing into a wooded area, according to police.

Bellingham and Franklin officers established a perimeter and requested help from regional K9 teams and drone operators. K9 teams from Milford and Millis responded, along with drone operators from the Bellingham and Franklin police departments.
One K9 track led officers to a home on Partridge Street in Franklin, an address known to law enforcement and listed on Revell's active warrants, according to police. Officers searched the home but did not find him.
Bellingham police said they will seek an additional warrant charging Revell with failure to stop for police, reckless operation, operating after suspension, speeding and other motor vehicle violations. Franklin police will also seek an additional warrant on several motor vehicle charges, including leaving the scene of property damage and reckless operation.
Anyone with information about Revell's whereabouts is asked to call police.
