MILFORD, MA — A $63 million price tag has been decided as the price tag for the town to purchase the Milford Water Company.
The purchase agreement had been decided upon after an executive session of the Board of Selectmen Monday night, The Milford Daily News reports
The town has long been able to purchase the Milford Water Company, and with the news of the purchase, a town meeting article will likely follow.

A Milford resident recently complained to Milford Daily News that the water company has had a poor reputation for years, and he won't drink the tap water.
On Dec. 10, the Milford Water Company alerted residents that if "you are experiencing discolored water it is because of a pump failure at the Dilla Street pump station. "
