Milford Man Arrested For OUI After Sideswiping Parked Car

MILFORD, MA- A Milford man was arrested and charged with OUI after he admitted to drinking four beers before he sideswiped a parked car on Central Street on Wednesday, police said.

A man inside of a car parked across from Express Dance studio told police he was waiting to pick up his daughter from dance class when a car hit the left rear end of the car. The car that hit him continued about 20 feet before it stopped. The back left tire of the victim's car was damaged and the front end of the suspects car was heavily damaged.

Ruben Castro, 23, was the driver of the car that hit and told police "I am so F***ing drunk," according to the police report. No one was injured in the crash- an off-duty Bolton police officer stepped in and spoke to Castro. The off-duty officer said he could smell alcohol on Castro's breath and his eyes were bloodshot. The officer stayed with Castro until the Milford police arrived. Castro told police he had four Coronas before driving.

Police found that Castro did not have a driver's license and he was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
