Milford Nonprofit Donates Large Supply To Local Veterans Association
The nonprofit delivered a large supply of food and personal hygiene items to the veterans' organization.

MILFORD, MA — A Milford nonprofit is continuing its mission to support veterans and military families by donating to a local veterans association.
Thanks To Yanks, a local charity dedicated to supporting military families, delivered a large supply of food and personal hygiene items to the Veterans Association of Bristol County in Fall River, the nonprofit announced on Sunday.
Founder and President Michael Shain highlighted the organization's long history of supporting those in uniform, both past and present.

"Thanks To Yanks is thrilled in continuing its mission in serving those who have served in the military," Shain wrote in a statement to Patch.
The delivery was just one of several events the nonprofit hosts throughout the year to assist men and women serving in the military.

In June, the nonprofit partnered with medical and recreational dispensary Blackstone Valley Cannabis for a collection drive and worked with the DoubleTree by Hilton in Milford, 11 Beaver St., to collect donations throughout the month for care packages.
