Milford Regional To Host Free Concussion Seminar
The seminar will be held on April 24.
MILFORD, MA- “The Team Approach: Multidisciplinary Treatment for Concussion” will be held Wednesday, April 24 at 7 p.m. in Physicians Conference Room B, located on the ground floor of the main hospital building.
Concussion is a traumatic brain injury that can occur from a fall or blow to the head and is a common injury in contact sports. Milford Regional’s Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine has implemented a team of physical therapists, occupational therapists and speech therapist to address the various symptoms of concussion.
Participants will meet the team and learn how they can help patients return to work, daily activities, recreational activities and sports safely and quickly.
