Milford Regional’s Patient Advisory Council Needs New Members

The Patient and Family Advisory Council includes hospital staff and former patients.

MILFORD, MA- Milford Regional Medical Center is looking for members to serve on the hospital’s Patient and Family Advisory Council (PFAC).

The Patient and Family Advisory Council is dedicated to promoting a partnership between the patients, families, and working professionals affiliated with the Medical Center to promote and foster patient‐centered care. The group holds monthly meetings and is made up of staff from the Medical Center’s administration and departments, and former patients or those who have had family members receive care at the hospital.

To be a member of the council you must live in either Milford, Hopedale, Mendon, Blackstone, Medway, Uxbridge, Northbridge, Whitinsville, Bellingham, Franklin, Douglas, Grafton, Upton, Hopkinton, Holliston, Millis, Medfield, Wrentham or Millville.

Terms on the council last two years and give members the opportunity to participate on various committees, task forces and advisory boards. This is the ninth year that the Patient and Family Advisory Council has been operating.

Anyone interested in becoming a member can complete and submit an application form by Tuesday, March 26, 2019.
