Holiday Concert with Vocalist Peter Smith and his Jazz Trio

The Peter Smith Trio delivers an outstanding program from the "Great American Songbook," featuring the songs made popular by Nat King Cole, Frank Sinatra and Tony Bennett to name a few. Vocalist Smith is equally adept with soft ballads such as "Moonlight in Vermont" and "The Nearness of You," as he is swinging Irving Berlin's Blue Skies or George Gershwin's "Nice Work If You Can Get It."  Backed by the outstanding jazz guitar of James Gordon and Berklee alum David Sakurai on bass, the trio evokes a genre of music much loved and rarely found live these days.

Join the library for holiday refreshments and a fun hour of great entertainment. This program is sponsored by The Friends of the Milton Public Library.
