Medical Defense Raised for Milton Coach Charged with Assault, Trooper Shoots Man

In Milton, a Massachusetts State Trooper responding to a medical call shot and and killed a New Bedford-area man after responding to a call he was driving erratically. 

A Milton parent said a high school teacher who was arrested for unlawful conduct with a student should never have taught this year.

A Brockton woman was arrested for stealing items from Lord & Taylor in Braintree, having allegedly stolen more than $1,000 worth of wallets and handbags.

Also in Braintree, a Quincy man was arrested for shoplifting electronics from Sears.

Hingham Police are working with Crow Point neighbors to search individuals who allegedly stole two sheep scultptures from the front of a Hingham business. 

An elderly Hingham resident was targeted by a phone scam, while Weymouth residents were told their loved ones were being held hostage in a similar scam.

A 47-year-old Braintree resident was charged with operating under the influence of alcohol on June 8 after an accident involving a Weymouth man.

In Plymouth, two individuals were charged with trespassing at the Pilgrim nuclear plant. 

In Falmouth, police named the two victims involved in a double homicide.

In Barnstable, a 15-year-old was arrested and carged with carrying dangerous weapon.

An Edgartown woman was arrested on suspicion of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, assault and battery on a police officer, resisting arrest and cruelty to animals.

In West Tisbury, a Pembroke man was charged with larceny of more than $250 after allegedly walking off with four photographic prints without paying for them at the Grange.
