The following information was supplied by the Braintree Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Braintree Police are looking for two people who stole a pocketbook and shopping bags from an 81-year-old Milton woman outside of the South Shore Plaza last Sunday.

The suspects are a white man and a white woman in a black Chrysler 300 reported stolen out of Saugus, Deputy Chief Russell Jenkins said in a statement. One of the victim's credit cards was later used in Medford as well.

On Sunday evening, the Milton woman was walking in the Lord & Taylor parking lot with her daughter and granddaughter when the man got out of the driver's side door of the Chrysler, grabbed her pocketbook and two shopping bags and headed back to the vehicle.
