Mattapan man faces unarmed robbery charge
Walter White, 18, of 14 Sutton St., Apt. 2, Mattapan was arraigned in Quincy District Court on a charge of unarmed robbery. The case was continued to July 10. Bail was set at $2,500. The charge stems from a March 28 incident in Milton at 4 p.m. when police responded to a report of a man who was attacked and placed in a headlock by a man who stole his backpack containing headphones, two iPods, iPhone 4, and Macbook laptop. The assailant also stole $3.

Chaz D. Everett, 30, of 39 Woodruff Way, Mattapan failed to show at a hearing in Quincy District Court on a charge of daytime breaking and entering. A judge issued a default warrant. The charge stems from a Sept. 27, 2007 incident in Milton at 7:46 p.m. when police responded to a Cabot Street residence for a report of a past breaking and entering. Police recovered a shovel and screwdriver next to a window.
