2nd Annual Alex's Lemonade Stand at the corner of Great Plain & Greendale Avenue

I am Auntie Laura to 8 nieces and nephews. They are so precious to me and my only wish would be to live closer to all of them so that I could hug each of them anytime I wanted. No matter the geographical location my nieces and nephews have participated in various community service events like planting a garden for the area food pantry, playing music for the elderly and rehabilitation centers, putting together dental hygiene bags and showing their commitment to the Girl Scouts by earning service patches and raising money through cookie sales. I am inspired by these young people everyday to be a positive role model of humility, compassion and contribution. Hosting my 2nd Annual Lemonade Stand in honor of Alex Scott and in support of the ALSF allows me to rally people, share Stories and to be an Aunt my nieces and nephews can be proud of. This year I have invited a few of my nieces and nephews to join me, in their respective state, on one of the Lemonade Days, June 11th, to help raise funds for research projects and travel expenses for the families.
