July 4 2017: Where To See Fireworks In Needham

It's going to be two days of fun down at Memorial Park.

NEEDHAM, MA — With the Fourth of July just about here, Needham is getting ready for their own celebration!

This year, the Needham 4th of July fireworks will take place on July 3 at 9 p.m. at Memorial Park. The next morning starts a full day's worth of events including the parade, races, and the little league baseball all-star game!

July 3
The day starts at 5 p.m. with food tents, drinks, ice cream, and more! Here the full schedule of events at Memorial Park:

  • 5–8:45 p.m. - Food tents, grilled food, beverages, ice cream, cotton candy, and more
  • 5:30–8:00 p.m. - Children’s Entertainment - Pony rides, face painting, and more
  • 7–9:15 p.m. - Live music from Reminisants
  • After dark – Fireworks

  • 8:30 a.m. - Charles River YMCA Road Race, start line at the Needham Public Library
  • 8:45 a.m. - Children’s Parade – Decorated Bikes and Costumes, Meet at Greene’s Field
  • 9 a.m. - Salute and Flag Raising at the Town Common
  • 9:05 a.m. - The Grand Parade
  • 8:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. - Craft fair and flea market
  • 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. - Refreshments
  • 11:30 a.m.-noon - Children's pie earing contest
  • Noon - Children’s races and contests at football field: Running events, egg toss, sack races
  • 1 p.m. - Needham Little League All-Star Game
