Needham Police Log: Car Crash Altercation, Vandalism, and More
The following is from the Needham Police Log. Arrests and charges mentioned don't imply conviction.

September 13
8:30 a.m. - An officer responded to Chestnut Motors on Highland Avenue for a report of an altercation after an accident. The two operators were pushing and shoving in a brief altercation. The two people were separated and advised.
11:00 a.m. - An officer stopped a motor vehicle on Greendale Avenue near Mann Avenue for defective equipment. While speaking to the operator, it was determined that his license was suspended. Based on this information the operator, Richard Dickie, of Lowell, was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license (subsequent offense) and a defective equipment violation.

12:30 p.m. - An officer took a walk-in report of vandalism at a Wachusett Road construction site. A few pieces of equipment have had some minor vandalism as the developer tries to finish the construction of a house. The victim/developer wanted the incident documented for legal purposes.

10:00 a.m. - An officer conducted a motor vehicle stop for a marked lanes violation and town by-law traffic violation for failure to obey street signs/markings, at the intersection of Kendrick Street and 4th Avenue. A subsequent license check revealed that the 38-year-old Waltham woman had a suspended license. She will be summonsed to Dedham District Court for the violations.
2:00 p.m. - An employee at a a Kendrick Street business reported that his car was hit while it was parked in the lot. There were no witnesses or notes left.
September 15
12:30 p.m. - An Edgewater Drive resident reported that someone had tried to open a credit card using her identification. The card was canceled.
