104 Newton Seniors Receive Seal of Biliteracy

Earlier this month, 104 Newton seniors were awarded The Seal of Biliteracy. The seal is a new designation this year and was created through a partnership between the World Languages Department and the English Language Learners program. It recognizes students for proficiency in two languages - English and a partner language - at the silver, gold, or platinum levels. 104 seniors earned the designation in this inaugural year. Students were honored by Superintendent Fleishman, their principals, and their teachers, in ceremonies at North and South High School. Below please find a list of seniors who received the Seal.
