4 Students Make Bates' Dean's List

Four students from Newton were named to the Dean's List.

Four students from Newton were named to the dean’s list at Bates College for the semester ending in April 2015. This is a distinction earned by students whose cumulative grade point average is 3.71 or higher.

The following students received this honor:

Matthew Moss-Hawkins, the son of Mr. Daniel J. Hawkins and Ms. Carolyn M. Moss of Newton, is a 2012 graduate of Newton North High School. He is majoring in economics and philosophy at Bates.

Adam Rintell, the son of Dr. and Mrs. David J. Rintell of Chestnut Hill, is a 2013 graduate of Brookline High School. He is majoring in politics at Bates.

Kate Berger, the daughter of Mr. and Dr. Melvyn S. Berger of Newton, is a 2013 graduate of Newton North High School. She is majoring in psychology at Bates.
