Bank of America Charitable Foundation presents the Greater Boston Food Bank with $100,000

On October 18th, the Bank of America Charitable Foundation presented the Greater Boston Food Bank with $100,000, funding 300,000 meals for those in need. Bank of America Merrill Lynch Employees also spent the day volunteering at the Food Bank, sorting through nearly 9,000 pounds of packaged food to create more than 7,100 meals to be distributed. This volunteer effort aligns with Bank of America’s national Give-A-Meal initiative, supporting families and communities struggling with food insecurity. In partnership with Feeding America, Bank of America has contributed more than eight million meals so far in 2016.
