Cadbury is a Super Sweet Love Bug!

Each week the Gifford Cat Shelter features one of their resident cats ready for adoption.

With a name like Cadbury, you know this 3-year old boy has to be sweet! He is affectionate and playful, and loves to sit on laps and give kisses. He gets so excited whenever somebody visits him, and he will crawl right into anybody’s lap to cuddle! Cadbury is a confident and loving guy. He loves boxes even more than most cats do! He also loves to play soccer with balls. He is usually very gentle and mild-mannered, but he can get overstimulated and so should not go into a home with very young children.

Cadbury is FIV positive, so he would need to go to a home as the only cat. FIV is NOT a highly contagious disease but is transmitted through bite wounds from cat to cat. If you want just one cat to love you and light up your life, Cadbury could be just the one for you! If you have any questions about FIV please contact the shelter.

The mission of Gifford Cat Shelter is to provide a safe haven for abandoned, stray, abused, neglected, unwanted and injured cats with the goal of re-homing and ending the needless killing of community and companion cats. It was the first cageless, no-kill shelter in the country and has been in existence since 1884.
