Chestnut Hill family supports Dana-Farber and the Jimmy Fund
Several members of the Schlager family took part in the Boston Marathon® Jimmy Fund Walk presented by Hyundai

Several members of the Schlager family took part in the Boston Marathon® Jimmy Fund Walk presented by Hyundai on Sept. 27. Allison Schlager and mom Beth, both of Weston, Mass., walked to raise money for the SoulMates program at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, which matches breast cancer patients with volunteer mentors who had a similar diagnosis at Dana-Farber. Cheering them on were Chestnut Hill residents Judie and Larry Schlager (Allison’s grandparents).
Judie and Larry Schlager have made several generous gifts to help establish and grow SoulMates, to ensure that other patients can connect with someone who knows what they are going through. Eric Schlager (not pictured above), son of Larry and Judie, is also a Dana-Farber Trustee.
