Congressman Kennedy launches Volunteer Expo at Mount Ida College
Mount Ida teams with Congressman Kennedy to host Volunteer Expo

More than two dozen non-profit organizations gathered at Mount Ida College in Newton on Saturday for the Inaugural Volunteer Expo spearheaded by Congressman Joseph P. Kennedy III. The Congressman shared the personal impact of service from his time in the Peace Corps and lifted the crowd, saying he felt reassured by the turnout on a beautiful autumn Saturday, that the country and the community is as strong as it can be. Kennedy then stopped at each table to meet and thank the organization representatives and volunteers.
The Expo was cohosted by the Mount Ida College Center for Community Engagement (CCE) and the Corporation for National and Community Service.
