Children ages 6-8 can learn how to climb the rock wall at the Leventhal-Sidman Jewish Community Center (333 Nahanton Street) in Newton in an 11-week Climbing and Adventure class. Children will learn how to put on a harness, tie knots and climb to the top of the rock wall. The 11-week class meets on Thursdays from 3:45-4:45pm beginning January 12. Cost is $275.
