Join Mayor Setti Warren to celebrate the Grand Opening of the Newton Centre Ice Skating Rink. As part of the Mayor's Open House celebrations, the rink will officially open to the public for free skating with The Sheryl Franks Creative Skating Academy performing at 11:30. Mayor Warren partnered with Newton Community Pride, local businesses, residents and Alderman Vicki Danberg to install the rink in Newton Center, to bring fun to all ages and to bring people together in their village center. The rink will be open and free to the public from 9am - 8pm through the winter. Skating is at your own risk, and hockey is prohibited.
