Tai Chi

Tai Chi has been part of Chinese culture for centuries and has many valuable benefits. Because of its movement and mind/body focus, the positive effects of Tai Chi on balance, relaxation, and sustained mental attention have been recognized by those who engage in athletic activities such as dance, skating, skiing, tennis, golf, and other sports. In this program, movement essentials and the mind-body connection will be explored in accordance with the principles and techniques of Tai Chi. Our beginner class focuses on introducing the fundamental principles and movements of Tai Chi.
