Celebrate the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi at the 9:00am mass at Sacred Heart Parish, honoring the departed. Blessing of animals to follow
The Guild of St. Francis at Sacred Heart Parish (1321 Centre Street, Newton, MA 02459) invites all parishioners, family members, relatives and friends of the Guild to celebrate the feast of our patron saint, St. Francis of Assisi.
9:00am Mass in memory of departed Guild members
10:30am Blessing of animals at Convent Groto Garden (inclement weather location: MacKenzie Center, 1337 Centre St, MA 02459)

St. Francis saw in all creation animals, plants, stars, and people, the evidence of God’s handiwork. Everyone is invited to bring their animals to Sacred Heart Church for a personal blessing.
