Hammond Residential Selling Pies for Community Servings' Pie in the Sky Drive

Drive continues through Saturday, November 21. Three Hammond office locations: Chestnut Hill, Waban, and South End, are pie pick-up sites

Chestnut Hill, MASS. (October 30, 2015) – Mark Lippolt, Senior Vice President of Operations at Hammond Residential Real Estate, is pleased to announce that the company is participating in the 23nd annual Community Servings “Pie in the Sky” bake sale.

More than a fundraiser, “Pie in the Sky” fosters community spirit and engages the public in the mission of Community Servings – Massachusetts’ free home-delivered meals and nutrition program for the critically ill. Each November since 1993, Boston’s best restaurants, bakeries, caterers and hotels donate thousands of pies that over 600 volunteers then sell to family, friends and colleagues. Each pie costs $28, providing a week’s worth of medically-tailored home-delivered meals to a Community Servings’ client and a tasty Thanksgiving treat to the buyer.

Hammond has once again assembled a team of pie-selling agents and staff. Sales are currently underway and will continue through Saturday, November 21. Three Hammond Residential locations will serve as pie pick-up sites in connection with the drive: Hammond’s Headquarters office located at 826 Boylston Street, Chestnut Hill, Hammond’s South End location at 10 Berkeley Street, and Hammond’s Waban location at 1631 Beacon Street. Pie orders can be placed by visiting Hammond’s team page at http://www.pieinthesky.org/hammond or by calling 617-731-4644 x 239.

Mark Lippolt said, “Having served on the Community Servings’ Board for nine years, I have seen the difference that just one $28 donation can make in the life of an individual suffering with a critical illness. Each day, Community Servings’ staff and volunteers prepare and deliver lunch, dinner and a snack to 1,525 individuals and families who cannot shop and cook for themselves because of an acute, life-threatening illness. The Hammond Residential team is proud to support the work of Community Servings, and we look forward to a successful 2014 ‘Pie in the Sky’ sale.”

Hammond Residential is headquartered in Chestnut Hill, and has three Boston locations and fifteen suburban branch offices. The company reports over two billion dollars in sales volume annually, ranking in sales volume among the top 500 firms in the United States, and as the sixth-highest in mean average sales price and the ninth-highest in sales volume per sales associate. Hammond is well-known as the publisher of the region’s finest magazines featuring local properties for sale.
