Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss

On Thursday March 2nd, the Suzuki Preschool of Newton celebrated Dr. Seuss' birthday with gaggles of games and snoodles of snacks. The children made "Cat in the Hat" hats and Thing 1 and Thing 2 headbands. They listened to a few of Dr. Seuss' classics "One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish", "The Lorax", and "The Cat in the Hat". After story time the children played games including story book ring toss and pin the hat on the cat. For snack they ate green eggs and ham (made out of white chocolate Hershey kisses and pretzels) Lorax cheese balls and even red fish in blue Jell-O. The children took turns in the photo booth to take pictures of themselves as the Cat in the Hat. "Oh the Places You Will Go" when you are in preschool!
