Heavy Rain, 50 MPH Winds to Hit Newton: Hourly Forecast

Newton will get drenched with heavy rain Wednesday night into Thursday.

About two inches of rain is expected; thunderstorms are likely early Thursday morning, according to the National Weather Service. A wind advisorywas issued, as gusts are expected to hit 50 mph. Flooded roads and power outages are possible.

The National Weather Service warns of “several weather threats,” including heavy rains, high winds and flooding.
