HISTORY BOOK CLUB MEETING

Join the book club in reading and discussing Fateful Choices: Ten Decisions that Changed the World, 1940-1941, by Ian Kershaw. This book covers a range of important decisions made during World War II, including Britain’s decision to fight on after Dunkirk, the Japanese determination to attack Pearl Harbor and Hitler’s declaration of war on America, among others. A review in The Guardian called it “an immensely wise book.” The book club is free and open to all; new members are welcome. At the Jackson Homestead and Museum, 527 Washington Street.
