Newton swap day: drop off unwanted items, pick up free stuff! Newton ID required. It's like a big garage sale or flea market!
Newton Recycling Committee's Trade & Recycle Day
Saturday, April 29, 2017, 8:00 am- 2:00 pm
Free! Bring/take good household items, bicycles, books, CD/DVDs, clothing, toys, non-upholstered furniture. Newton residents can come to the Rumford Depot to drop off and pick up free stuff! No non-working items, no junk.
All regular recycling items accepted: paper, plastic, glass, metal, rechargeable batteries, fluorescent bulbs, print cartridges. No paint or hazardous waste.
Newton residents only, bring your ID.
It's a fun event, you never know what you'll find--once someone rolled away a portable dishwasher!
Drop Off: 8:00 am - noon
Pick up: 8:00 am - 2:00 pm
