Newton Native Dies After Connecticut Triathlon
Samuel Fisher was a New York resident and recent graduate of Harvard University.

Newton, MA â A 24-year-old New York man collapsed and died after a triathlon Sunday morning in a Stamford, CT park, according to police.
Samuel Fisher collapsed at about 10:30 a.m. while receiving his medal after completing the Kic It Triathlon in Stamford's Cummings Park, writes the Stamford Advocate's John Nickerson.Â

Fisher, a recent Harvard University graduate, grew up in Newton.Â
Paramedics who were at the scene immediately began trying to revive him but could not, despite extensive efforts, police said. An autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of death.
