Newton Requests Feedback on Early Voting
This year, residents will be able to submit their vote during the two weeks leading up to the general election.

Newton, MA â Early voting will be available in Newton for the first time during this upcoming state general election.
For two weeks before the election, residents will be able to vote at City Hall; their ballots will be held at the City Clerk's Office until Election Day and then sent to the requisite polling location for counting.
The Clerk's Office will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. during the week and close at 8 p.m. on Tuesdays beginning October 24.

One advantage of early voting, which is now the law in Massachusetts, is that voters are not confined to submitting their ballots on Election Day.
