Newton-Wellesley Hospital Donates Narcan to City of Newton

Nasal Narcan For Use by School Nurses in Newton Public Schools

Newton-Wellesley Hospital recently donated 22 doses of Nasal Narcan to Newton’s Health & Human Services Department for use by school nurses in the Newton Public Schools. The drug is an effective antidote for any opiate overdose and has gained attention in Massachusetts as the state’s heroin problem has reached epidemic proportions.
