Newton-Wellesley Hospital Named a 2018 Top Place to Work

Newton-Wellesley Hospital is proud to announce it has been chosen as one of the 2018 Top Places to Work in Massachusetts in the 11th annual employee-based survey from The Boston Globe. Newton-Wellesley Hospital was one of only two hospitals in the state recognized across all categories including small, medium, large and largest companies.

Top Places to Work recognizes the most admired workplaces in the state voted on by the people who know them the best—their employees. The survey measures employee opinions about their company’s direction, execution, connection, management, work, pay and benefits, and engagement. The employers are placed into one of four groups: small, with 50 to 99 employees; medium, with 100 to 249 workers; large, with 250 to 999; and largest, with 1,000 or more.

The confidential survey was conducted by Energage—an independent research company specializing in employee engagement and retention—and they tabulated results from nearly 82,151 individuals at 318 Massachusetts organizations to determine/rank the winners.

According to the Boston Globe, Top Places to Work recognizes the most progressive companies in the Commonwealth based on employee opinions about career development, company leadership and direction, compensation, diversity/inclusion, values, ethics and engagement.
