Nonprofit Needs Help Finding, Fixing Bikes

The NAMI Wellness program promotes exercise to treat depression, anxiety, diabetes and more. As part of its effort, it provides bikes.

The NAMI Wellness Project, a Newton nonprofit, was formed to promote the idea that exercise is a valuable way to treat diseases or conditions such as PTSD, anxiety, depression, diabetes, alcoholism and more.

As part of its effort, the group provides bikes to those in need.

NAMI is currently looking for people who would be willing to donate time into fixing up bikes, and looking for used bikes to fix up, to support its program and efforts.
