Palm Sunday Service with Guest Vocalist Charlotte Russell
Renown Vocalist Charlotte Russell at UMC Newton Palm Sunday

The United Methodist Church of Newton is pleased to announce that Vocalist Charlotte Russell will be our guest soloist for Palm Sunday Worship Service, April 9th at 10:30 AM. Charlotte has had solo appearances with the Boston Symphony Orchestra, the Essex Chamber Music Players as well as performing in the Swiss Alps. She has premiered and recorded works by Harold Shapero, Francis Judd Cooke, David Bennett Thomas and Steve Peisch among others and has appeared in recitals throughout New England and in Jerusalem.
Charlotte is certified as a Master Teacher in Estill Voice Training. She is on the faculties of St. Mark's School in Southborough and Indian Hill Music in Littleton. She is also the Music Director of the Threshold Singers at Indian Hill. This is a dedicated group which brings the healing and comforting power of unaccompanied song to people who are ill or in hospice care.
The United Methodist Church of Newton is a Christian Community of Radical Love. Rev. Charlotte Pridgen-Randolph is the Pastor. Sunday Worship Service begins at 10:30 AM.
