Firm's extensive Earn Your Future curriculum helps prepare students for success in the workforce and beyond
On Friday, March 23, 18 employees from PwC’s Boston office held a financial literacy “job fair” at Learning Prep School in Newton, MA, empowering students with complex learning profiles including dyslexia, expressive/receptive language issues, autism spectrum disorder, and social communication disorders with skills to navigate the financial demands of life after high school graduation.
The PwC team shared lessons from their extensive Earn Your Future curriculum - which equips the next generation with the financial, technology and career-selection skills they need to succeed in the workforce. This effort is tied to PwC’s staunch commitment to improving financial literacy among young people in disadvantaged circumstances and communities. Topics covered included: insurance, taxes, budgeting, living expenses, dressing for interviews/success, loans, nutrition and transportation.
