Senior Darwin Still Has Lots of Love to Give!

Each week the Gifford Cat Shelter features one of their resident cats ready for adoption.

16 year-old Darwin has evolved in into a distinguished older gent who is enjoying his golden years. He’d like to share some of the things he’s learned about life with you! He is very sweet, loves to be petted and have his ears scratched, and gives head butts in return. Darwin is blind in one eye and has pins in one hip, but he’s otherwise a healthy and sprightly senior! Darwin is adorable and mellow and would be a great fit for anybody that wants a fluffy friend to hang out with!

If you are interested in meeting Darwin or any of the cats at The Ellen M. Gifford Cat Shelter, visit our website (www.giffordcatshelter.org). While you’re there, you can fill out an online adoption application for Darwin and learn more about our shelter. You can also call us at 617-787-8872.

The mission of Gifford Cat Shelter is to provide a safe haven for abandoned, stray, abused, neglected, unwanted and injured cats with the goal of re-homing and ending the needless killing of community and companion cats. It was the first cageless, no-kill shelter in the country and has been in existence since 1884.
