Susan G. Komen Massachusetts Pink Tie Guys Presented by Lexus of Watertown
Lexus of Watertown partnered with Susan G. Komen Massachusetts® presents the first-ever Massachusetts Pink Tie Guys fundraising campaign.
According to Susan G. Komen, Massachusetts has the second highest incidence of breast cancer in the United States and this year, more than 5,000 Massachusetts residents will be diagnosed with breast cancer. Throughout the month of October, Lexus of Watertown will invite local men to join them in the fight against breast cancer in Massachusetts. These community leaders will demonstrate their commitment by raising a minimum of $1,008 for Komen Massachusetts, representing the 1 in 8 women who will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime. As part of their commitment to fighting breast cancer in the Commonwealth, Lexus of Watertown has also pledged to make a donation to Susan G. Komen Massachusetts for every test drive in the month of October. In addition, they have announced that they will match any donation made in their showroom, up to $500.
Susan G. Komen Massachusetts and Lexus of Watertown are aiming to engage a minimum of 100 people to each raise the $1,008 minimum by October 31, for a campaign goal of $100,800. All those who raise $1,008 will be recognized at a reception on November 5 at The Algonquin Club of Boston.
