Missing Boston College Student Found

A Boston College student reported missing after failing to show up to graduation on Monday has been found safe. Newton Police tweeted Monday evening that 23-year-old Dana Morrissey had been found "safe"; she was found near Hammond Pond. She was seen being carried out on a stretcher on her way to the hospital.

Woman Kidnapped from Newton Assisted Living Facility: Police

Police are searching for a woman who they believe was kidnapped from an assisted living facility in Newton. The woman, identified by multiple news outlets as Beth Birnbaum, 62, was taken from the CareOne Health Care facility Tuesday afternoon by 55-year-old David Collignon, police told reporters.

Elderly Newton Woman Found Safe; Suspect Arrested

A man sought by police in connection with the disappearance of a patient from a Newton nursing home has been arrested. David Collignon was taken into custody in Boston Thursday night after bringing 62-year-old Beth Birnbaum to Massachusetts General Hospital for treatment. He is believed to have left the CareOne Health Facility with Birnbaum Tuesday afternoon.
