Workshop Dec. 9 provides roadmap through divorce preocess
Workshop to help men and women thinking about or in divorce. Professionals will discuss financial, emotional, legal and family issues
Looking for information on the divorce legal process and its effects on families, finances and participants?
The “Divorce Matters — Next Step” workshop returns to the area December 9 to help people untie those knots often encountered during divorce.
The atmosphere is casual but the three hours is information-packed. It's designed for people considering, approaching or in the midst of divorce to help them set expectations and make wise decisions. A 34-year-old non-profit, The Divorce Center, offers this workshop from 9 a.m. - noon Saturday, December 9 at the Wellesley Community Center, 219 Washington Street in Wellesley.

Trained professionals will provide information to empower participants through the divorce process with confidence and peace of mind, and a take-home guide is provided to all participants. Cost is $30.

The Divorce Center is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit Massachusetts organization of people experiencing divorce and its effects, along with professionals who enhance knowledge of the divorce process and its effects, to lessen fear and attain the best possible outcomes. Programs emphasize parental education and assistance, training, information sharing and referral services.
