What -- and where -- Youth pro Musica has been singing:
In recent seasons, YpM members have appeared in a world premiere and made a professional recording with other choruses, including one from Germany, performed “Carmina Burana” with Chorus pro Musica at Jordan Hall in Boston, and performed at Faneuil Hall at a fundraiser for a charity called “Pitching in for Kids”. In late June 2011, YpM traveled to Montréal, Canada to perform at some of city’s most famous and historic venues; the chorus was hosted by the world-renowned boy choir Les Petits Chanteurs du Mont-Royal, YpM's guests in 2008. In June 2012, YpM travelled to New York City for a long weekend, staying at St. Thomas Choir School and performing around the city. In the past two years, YpM has collaborated with Masterworks Chorale, Nashoba Valley Chorale, and other area groups on works such as Bach's “St. Matthew Passion” and Orff's “Carmina Burana”.
