• New Northborough Fire Chief Officially Sworn In (patch.com) — Northborough residents have a new fire chief, as Keith Darling was officially sworn in this week after the Select Board unanimously appointed him to lead the department. He succeeds longtime Chief David Parenti, with Deputy Chief Neal Aspesi having served as acting chief during the transition. Town officials say Darling's leadership and energy are already evident as he steps into the role.
