• Nor'easter Weakens After Deadly Battering of Northeast (ground.news) — Norwell was among several South Shore towns hit by this weekend's nor'easter, with power outages, coastal erosion, and heavy rain reported as crews continue restoring electricity. While the storm is weakening and moving offshore, residents should still expect lingering rain, wind, and minor flooding or coastal issues through Monday before conditions improve on Tuesday.
   

• Rebranding a 'Huge Success' in Improved Hospice Access (hospicenews.com) — A longtime Norwell-based nonprofit, formerly known as Norwell Visiting Nurse Association and Hospice, has rebranded as Croí Health to better reflect its broader hospice, home health, and palliative services. Leaders say the new name has reduced confusion, boosted demand, and reassured South Shore families that the same trusted local caregivers remain in place despite the change.
   

• This Week in Regulation for Broadcasters: September 21, 2026 to September 25, 2026 (broadcastlawblog.com) — A recent FCC decision affects Norwell by approving a TV station's request to keep using Channel 10 instead of moving to Channel 36, citing better service to the community. While highly technical, this move helps ensure more reliable over-the-air reception for viewers in and around Norwell who still rely on broadcast television.
