Morning Crash Sends Two to Norwood Hospital
An ambulance failed to stop at an intersection earlier this morning, resulting in a three-vehicle accident.

Officers responded to a three-vehicle crash earlier this morning that sent two people to Norwood Hospital for non-life threatening injuries, police spokesman Kevin Grasso said in a statement.
At 9:47 a.m., a Fallon Ambulance transporting a patient to and from a medical facility was traveling south on Washington Street approaching Railroad Avenue, Grasso said. The vehicle's siren and emergency lights were activated as it reached red traffic signal at Washington Street.
Two vehicles were in motion on Railroad Avenue when the ambulance failed to stop for the red light prior to entering the intersection, Grasso said. The ambulance collided with the vehicle traveling westbound on Railroad Avenue which caused that vehicle to crash into an eastbound vehicle.
