Norwood Police Log: July 12-13

Tuesday, July 12:

7:38 a.m. - Caller reported a large, dead crow at the intersection of Quincy Ave. and Cedar St. A message was left for animal control to check the bird and remove it.

2:21 p.m. - Police responded to a shoplifting incident at the CVS Pharmacy on Nahatan St. The subject was advised and told not to return — no other details were given.

4:27 p.m. - Officers arrested 19-year-old Nicholas Pelaggi for shoplifting at T.J. Maxx on Nahatan St. It appears the man is homeless and additional information was not given.

8:55 p.m. - Caller on the 151 block of Fulton St. reported a syringe on the sidewalk. It was picked up and disposed of by an officer.

Wednesday, July 13:

2:30 a.m. - A delivery driver at Clay Nissan on Boston Providence Highway reported seeing a male jump the rear fence and reported a car light on in a vehicle. No other information was given.
