Norwood Police Log: July 27-28

Wednesday, July 27:

2:15 p.m. - Officers respond to a group of kids gathering outside The Sweeterie on Washington Street. They were asked to move along.

4:49 p.m. - A minor vehicle accident occurred at a location on Norwest Drive. Norwood Fire Department was notified of the incident.

4:52 p.m. - State police reported a truck unable to drive under a bridge at a location on Boston Providence Highway. A local officer checked the area and nothing was found.

11:46 p.m. - Caller on Myrtle Street reported a loud party. When officers checked the scene, only adults were present, there was no underage drinking and it was breaking up for the night.

Thursday, July 28:

1:09 a.m. - Caller on Melville Avenue reported hearing fireworks, but wasn't sure where they were coming from. Officers investigated the incident.
